Thomas Hout is Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management. He spent 30 years as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Boston, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. He is author of two books: "Competing Against Time," (a business best-seller) and "Japanese Industrial Policy." He has authored seven Harvard Business Review articles and over a dozen op-ed pieces to the Asian Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He has for twelve years taught winter quarter at the University of Hong Kong. His principal homes are Martha’s Vineyard and Hong Kong.
